A: Farmhill can comfortably accommodate up to 200 seated guests, including tables, chairs, and ceremony seating provided by us.
If you wish to host more than 200 guests, additional attendees may be accommodated with rented seating, a tent, and additional portable washrooms arranged by the client.
Q: Do you provide tables, chairs, and ceremony seating?
A: Yes! Farmhill provides tables, chairs, and ceremony seating for up to 200 guests.
Q: Can we customize the layout?
A: Absolutely. We provide layout options based on your guest count and are always happy to customize a layout to suit your vision.
Q: Can we host both the ceremony and reception onsite?
A: Yes! Many couples choose to host both their ceremony and reception at Farmhill for a seamless, stress-free day.

Q: What is the size of the tables?
A: 40” W x 94.6” L x 30.5” H
Q: Can we swap out your tables for round tables?
A: Yes! This can be arranged for an additional labour fee.
Q: What is the height of the beams?
A: 14 ft to the top of the centre beams.
Q: What are the dimensions of the ceremony benches?

Climate & Comfort
Q: Is the venue climate controlled?
A: Farmhill does not have air conditioning; however, the space is equipped with industrial overhead fans and is naturally cooled by its elevated hillside location. Even on warm days, the venue remains comfortable and never feels overly hot.
Vendors, Setup & Decor
Q: When can vendors access the venue for setup?
A: Vendor access begins at 8:00 AM on the day of the event.
Q: Can we use your ladders for decorating?
A: No 😜 Anyone working at height must have their own insurance. Professional decorators or insured vendors are required for ladder work.
Q: Are candles allowed?
A: Candles must be fully enclosed in glass. Open flames are not permitted.
Q: Are linens and dinnerware included?
A: These are not included and must be rented through your caterer or rental company. (We love Porcelain & Vine!)
Catering & Clean-Up
Q: Can Farmhill accommodate buffet-style catering?
A: Yes! Buffet service can be accommodated for guest counts of 150 or fewer.
For guest lists over 150, buffet service may be set up on our covered porch. Tables and linens for this area must be supplied by the client or caterer.
Q: Who is responsible for garbage and clean-up?
A: Caterers are responsible for removing all garbage at the end of the event. A fee will be charged if grease is dumped on the property.
Q: What happens if décor or florals are left behind?
A: All décor and florals must be taken down and removed at the end of the night. Items left behind will be discarded, and a $300 cleaning fee will apply.
Q: Is there a cleaning fee for excessive messes?
A: Yes. A cleaning fee will be applied for excessive messes (including “pukey-puke” 🤍).
Bar Service
Q: Is glassware included?
A: Barware is included and provided by Farmhill. Water and wine glasses for tables must be rented or supplied by the client.
Q: What mixers and liquor are offered at the bar?
A: A typical bar rail includes vodka, gin, and whisky, along with orange juice, Coke, Diet Coke, Ginger Ale, Sprite, cranberry juice, soda water, and other standard mixers.
Families, Accessibility & Guests
Q: Are children welcome?
A: Yes! We simply ask that children are supervised at all times, especially around animals.
Q: Do you have change tables in the washrooms?
A: Yes! We have a mobile baby changing station that typically resides in the women’s washroom but can be moved anywhere as needed. (Not because dads can’t change bums — it just fit better aesthetically 😉)
Farm & Safety Policies
Q: Is Farmhill a working farm?
A: Yes. Farmhill is home to animals who are part of our everyday life. Their safety and wellbeing are a top priority.
Q: Are fireworks, confetti, or flower petals allowed?
A: No. These items pose safety and choking hazards for our animals and are not permitted.
Bubbles and sparklers are welcome and make for beautiful photos!
Booking Farmhill
Q: How do we book Farmhill?
A: We offer two ways to book, depending on how hands-on (or hands-off) you’d like to be when planning your day.
Option 1: Venue-Only (À La Carte)
Q: What does Venue-Only booking include?
A: This option is perfect if you love choosing your own vendors and building your day your way.
You’ll book Farmhill as the venue and select your own planning team, caterer, florist, DJ, and other vendors à la carte. While you’re free to choose whoever you love, we’re always happy to offer trusted recommendations and guidance along the way — think choose-your-own-adventure, with support when you want it.
Venue-only pricing starts at $8,500 + HST.
Option 2: Heart & Harvest Package (Our One-Stop-Shop Experience)
Q: What is the Heart & Harvest package?
A: Heart & Harvest is our thoughtfully curated, full-service experience designed for couples who want a beautiful, cohesive day with fewer decisions and less stress.
This package includes:
• Event planning
• Venue
• Florals & tablescape design
• Buffet-style catering
• Officiant
• DJ
Pricing for Heart & Harvest starts at $27,320 + HST, based on 100 guests.
Pricing adjusts up or down depending on your final guest count and day of the week.
⭐ IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CATERING (PLEASE READ!)
Q: Can we upgrade the food in the Heart & Harvest package?
A: Yes — and this is where flexibility really shines.
You may upgrade the included buffet service to plated service for $20 per person.
If you’re looking for a more customized or elevated culinary experience, we can also remove the catering portion of the package entirely.
If catering is removed:
You still receive the bundled cost savings from all the other Heart & Harvest vendors.
You’ll work directly with Kayla at Kitchen Farmacy to design and book your catering.
This option is only available when continuing with Kitchen Farmacy as your caterer.
This allows you to elevate the food experience while still enjoying the simplicity and value of the Heart & Harvest package.
